Made to Measure Curtains
At Belwell Interiors we offer a complete Made to Measure design and fitting service.
We can visit you in your home at a time that suits you and if you cannot make it to the shop we can bring a range of fabric sample books for you to look through. We will discuss the different options available to you such as lining and interlining, upholstered pelmets, cushions and throws. We will take your window measurements and give you an estimate. Once the deposit has been received, the fabric will be ordered and following delivery, made in our workshop, when ready we will contact you to arrange for one of our professional fitters to install them.
When designing the interior of any room in the home, we can help you to be sure that everything matches or contrasts. We can also save you money on recommending creative ways of putting colours and items together – it need not incur a high cost.
You should also think about if the hardware - poles, tracks etc and what style will go with the room and look good with the curtains. You want the finish to be complementary.
In a bedroom you may wish to maintain the darkness during the day, consider blackout lining. If a fabric is fine, ie silk or polyester you will require an interlining.
Take your sofa cushion with you to save you a lot of time to ensure that everything matches.
When you are measuring your windows, you should always ensure they hang to brush or puddle on the floor, otherwise they will look too short and not reach the ground.
